Storage Guardian launches online data backup campaign for SMBs
Storage Guardian has launched a "Dust-Off Your Tapes" campaign to help give SMBs awareness about the dangers of relying on vulnerable magnetic tapes for long-term storage. With this campaign, Storage Guardian is encouraging SMBs to migrate data stored on tape to online data backup service providers. Many online data backup service providers will migrate tape data to online service providers, such as Storage Guardian's Asigra. Asigra converts tape format into a backup lifecycle management archive package that can then be integrated into an accessible online tiered storage system.
