SugarSync launches SMB version of backup and sharing platform
Sharpcast Inc.'s SugarSync launched a SMB version of its digital synchronization, data backup and sharing platform. SugarSync has computer and smartphone syncing capabilities, folder sharing, collaboration tools and file backup features. Users can work from their phone and access folders and information from nearly all locations. Also, administrators can manage multiple user accounts and profiles and allocate data storage and backups.
SugarSync supports all computer and smartphone operating systems, including Android, Blackberry, iPhone, Mac, Windows Mobile and Windows.
MarketStor announces e-Archiver email archiving product
MarketStor Corp. announced its latest email archiving SMB product, the e-Archiver product line. The e-Archiver supports Exchange Server 2000, 2003 and 2007, manages emails throughout their entire life cycle and saves emails in an archive database while leaving behind a path in the body of the actual email. The e-Archiver offers data storage space in 11 different capacities, ranging from 150 GB to 6 TB.
icloud launches improved desktop
icloud, a Hosted Virtual Desktop (HVD), announced the launch of its improved desktop with Super Search and a new start menu. icloud is a cloud computing service, and its application virtualization technology enables software delivery as Sofware-as-aService (SaaS), but executes it on a local computer. This preserves data center resources and reduces bandwidth consumption.
icloud offers 3 GB of storage for each user, 50 applications like music, games and instant messaging and file sharing.
