Nomadesk, an on-demand file sharing software product, was recently named a Bell Certified Solution. Due to this certification, Bell Canada will offer its SMB customers access to Nomadesk's cloud computing technology service. The cloud service allows users to share, synchronize, encrypt and back up important data. The cloud service also includes virtual file servers, giving users online and offline access to their data at any time.

Promise Tech. introduces SmartStor ZERO for home offices and SMBs

Promise Technology Inc., a supplier of RAID storage products, introduced the SmartStor ZERO NS2600 for digital home offices and SMBs. SmartStor ZERO is a NAS device that supports the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), which allows data, including data from mobile devices, to be uploaded to SmartStor. Pricing for SmartStor ZERO starts at $279 per unit.
