Synology introduces two-bay NAS server, the Synology DiskStation DS710+
Synology Corp. launched a new addition to their two-bay DiskStation line, the Synology DiskStation DS710+. The DS710+ is a two-bay scalable network-attached storage (NAS) server that is scalable up to seven bays with the DX510 expansion, giving it a total of 14 TB of data storage. It also has built-in file sharing, automatic data backup, remote access, web hosting, email hosting and media streaming. In addition, the DS710+ is equipped with the new Intel Atom D410 CPU, a 1 GB LAN port, three USB ports and a 1 GB DDRII LAN. The DS710+ will be available at the end of February.

Features of the SnapServer SAN S2000 include automated capacity expansion, disaster recovery capabilities, easy data storage management, maximized application uptime and also has twelve drives that are expandable up to 120 TB.
SmartPick introduces new backup appliance for SMBs
SmartPick Backup announced a new series of data backup appliances for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and midmarket customers. The new product line, SmartFilers, allows customers to back up their data both onsite and offsite. The appliances are aimed at customers who have more than 50 GB of data that needs to be backed up daily.

This way, users can still perform their daily tasks while having their data backed up in the background. It also comes with a live 24/7 technical support center.
