Cox Business announces that its online backup service is now available to SMBs
Cox Business announced that its online backup service, Cox Business Online Backup, is now available to all markets, including SMBs.
Cox Business Online Backup is a service that automatically backs up files to data centers that have onsite monitoring and security features such as fire detection and seismic safeguards. The online backup service allows users to make their own preferences and determine how often they want to back up their files, as well as allow users to access their files from any PC with Internet access. The product also comes with 128-bit SSL encryption.
VMware offers its VMware vSphere Essentials product at half the price
VMware Inc. announced that it will offer its VMware vSphere Essentials product at half off the list price through June 15, 2010. The vSphere Essentials offers enterprise-class virtualization, which SMBs can now take advantage of at the lower price. vSphere Essentials can be purchased at the promotional price online.
Synology launches the DX510, adding capacity to Synology DiskStations
Synology Corp. launched the Synology DX510, an expansion for the Synology DS1010+ and DS710+ to increase their capacity. If either the DS1010+ or DS710+ are running low on capacity, the DX510 will scale up their capacity by immediately adding five hard drives.
The Synology DX510 is available now.
