According to JKMIlne, The SMB DPP has helped them achieve business continuity (BC) in their data backup and recovery environment and meet all data management requirements for a small business.
Axcient teams up with N-central 7.0 from N-able Technologies
Axcient Inc., a company that offers data backup, business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) services for managed service providers (MSPs) and their SMB customers, announced that they are going to team up with N-able Technologies. Axcient's data backup and recovery services will now be integrated with N-able's N-central 7.0 remote management and monitoring platform.
The combined technologies will be able to track all data backup and recovery statuses and notifications, have the ability to restore laptops, desktops and servers, as well as support applications such as Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Small Business Server suite. MSPs will also be able to remotely monitor their customers' data backups through Axcient's web browser view.

Spare Backup to outsource IT and software development functions to international IT service providers

The decision to outsource some of their IT and software development functions stems from the need to manage added client backup and cloud computing needs. According to Spare Backup, outsourcing some applications will expand their capacity and may lower their research and development expenses.
BackupAssist's Centralized Monitoring Console reported to have increased backup efficiency up to 40%
Cortex I.T., a backup software developer, announced that more customers are signing up as Gold Resellers to access BackupAssist's Centralized Monitoring Console (CMC), which helps them monitor several installations for SMB clients.
BackupAssists' CMC allows multiple data backups for multiple servers and clients to be monitored from one daily report. These reports can be in email form or be accessed online anytime through their Gold Reseller portal. The reports give details of the results of all scheduled data backups by their clients. They also list problem areas and notify customers when data backups have failed to run. According to customers using the Gold Reseller portal, their data backups have increased in efficiency by up to 40% with the use of CMC.
